I don't know if you can. The problem might actually be the processor - how old is your computer and what processor do you have? It might be too slow . I say this because I wasn't able to install a desktop manager type program for my Nikon Camera - it at least told me the problem ha-ha. I recently broke down and got a modern computer to solve these type problems. I think my Curve is more advanced than my old computer.

I'm not sure if it's even compatible. Look at your Desktop Manager cd room package and see what's the minimum requirements.

I had to downgrade to Desktop Manager 4.2 SP2 with my new 8130 so I could sync with my Outlook 2000. However, the minimum system requirement for that version is still Windows XP or 2000.

I think you are out of luck with Windows 98.

I have done some testing with various Windows machines and found DTM v4.2 + all have a minimum Win2000/ME requirement.

Windows 98 is compatible with DTM v4.1 and earlier. Unfortunatly, this version is not compatible with device OS v4.2 and up.
