Quite excitedly I thought I would download and install DM v4.5. What I didn't think to take into account is that I am running Windows 2000 and v4.3 didn't work with that OS. So once I had installed DM 4.5 I found that it didn't offer me the option to sync with Outlook, for Calendar, Address Book etc.

So I thought, no problem, I would revert back to DM v4.2, so I went to uninstall software and selected DM v4.5 and ran through that process. I re-booted, but I could still see DM listed as a program and when selected, it brought up the DM window, though only two icons were displayed within it.

So, how do I completely uninstall DM v4.5, so that I can re-install 4.2?

Have you used the "Add/Remove Programs" option from the Control Panel? If so, you may have a key in the Registry that needs to be deleted.

Here's a relatively painless way to do it. Go to cccleaner.com and download their free tool. It has a Registry tool included. Should do the trick.
