    March 2011 I purchased a new notebook (Windows 7, 32 Bit); my only computer BTW. In August 2011 I purchased a new 9850. The BB Desk Top software worked fine until March 2012. When I try to open the desk top soft ware on the pc the BB icon displays then MS7 opens a box in the icon that says the can't open the software and will notify me when there is a solution. RIM says they can't fix it as well as my tech guys at store I trust. Any ideas? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software more times than and ways than I can remember. #HELP!

    Anything else changed? New anti-virus, firewall, etc.? New version of desktop? Do you have auto-update set on any of these or other applications that may have changed without you knowing it?

    Nope. I have a two year AVG that I paid for. But I agree something changed and I can't find it. Like I said RIM couldn't help me either. It is a Microsoft problem.
