    Hey,
    I'm having an issue with my Bold 9700, and the new BlackBerry Desktop Manager (v6.0, latest release).

    First of all, I'm using the latest carrier approved OS, which is 5.0.0.862.

    Whenever I click the applications tab in desktop manager, after my phone is plugged in (and nothing is running... no syncing, tethering or backups), I get a popup that says "The loading operation was canceled by the user".

    I've tried battery pulls, and I have no apps running in the background on my phone. Any ideas why this happening?

    Same here on torch. Got this after deleting some games etc..

    Someone on another forum (BlackBerry Support) helped me.

    Follow the steps here: KB13913-Cannot run the application loader tool due to a dial-up networking message

    It worked for me. Very non-obvious solution in my opinion.
