I use googl sync with my storm and I am sure it will work with the tour as well..

And you are using a Mac?
Google sync allows your blackberry to sync with gmail contacts and calendar. That part has nothing to do with a mac.
Is that all you want to sync? If so you won't have an issue at all. The biggest issue with bb and mac is you can't update your bb with new os's
