Can someone advise how well BB Link loads files from one device to another? I've read the instructions and did a full Q10 backup on Link, but would like to know if there are any issues I should anticipate. Also, does Link copy over applications like BeMaps Pro or games?

Bottom line: will Link do the job or should I run over to the Verizon store?

Thank you, my friend. Getting the Z30 tomorrow. The promo in the link said "and others..." did you get anything more than phone/contacts/calendar entries? If so, what more? Thanks.

Also, can I do this without activating the new phone on the carrier (Verizon). Does it matter which phone is still on the carrier to run the process?

Never had a problem with link doing a device switch. Device switch app works well

OK. I did look at that, too. I'm trying to see which transfers the most information in the best possible way. Thanks for your post.

PS - I really wish I could switch to the Passport, but alas, not available in USA/Verizon. And. the keys are starting to fall out of my Q10 keyboard. I don't want to move away from BlackBerry devices. Still the best for basic communications, which I need.

OK - here's my update: I used BB LInk to transfer files over to the Z30, and it performed very well. Not only did it transfer over the contact into, it also transferred over all of the application files, which has quite a surprise. The solitaire game still had all the cards where they were before the transfer! It also transferred over BeMaps Pro, which is a very good app. So I'm very happy with the results. Thanks to all who had a word of advice...
