Blend successfully connects to my Blackberry (both my Blackberry and laptop get a notification that Blend has connected), but it can't get past the "Loading Dashboard" screen. It was working for the past few weeks but stopped just today. I tried restarting both with no results. Anyone know what could be wrong? I'm using a Classic and Macbook.

Hi I had the same problem, please try updating blend on your Mac and Phone to get a successful connection. I don't have a Mac but I run on Windows 8 and pair my Z30 using BlackBerry Blend.
Blend is stuck on "Loading Dashboard" screen-img_20150106_143312.jpg

Same problem here. Worked once a few weeks ago, nothing since :-(

Macbook + BB Passport - tried wifi and usb connections.
All software up to date, and both devices rebooted several times.

I like my BB Passport but their Mac software still seems to suck, just like the old days

May be the issue is with the Mac software, did you try connecting on a Windows PC? Anyways what is the blend software version do you have on the phone?

Got it to work again by doing a clean install of both Blend and Link. Hopefully it stays this way.

I had the same issue but found an easier solution. I closed blend from the task bar and proceeded to uninstall all BB software when it complained that blend was still running. I canceled the uninstall and opened the task manager -> processes and sorted by image name. Blend was in the list, I killed that process and relaunched blend. Everything worked fine after this. Looks like a bug with blend leaving a process running and not knowing to kill it later.
    To repro:
    1. close blend
    2. open task manager
    3. processes tab
    4. sort by image name
    5. kill blend process

Thanks Shannon. Had the same problem. Went into task manager and "ended task" for Blend and then restarted Blend and it's back up and running.
