Although there are a few rumors of a BlackBerry tablet being in the works, I wouldn't count on it any time soon (or ever, really). Fortunately Blend now allows some sort of BlackBerry functionality on Android tablets and iPads (as well as PC/Mac).

However, given the cautiously growing BlackBerry-Amazon relationship, I'm actually surprised that the Blend apk can only (officially) be obtained from Google Play and not on the Amazon app store. I mean, BlackBerry is telling their customers to rely on the (rather limited) Amazon app store, and yet simultaneously being as guilty as the "big name apps" of excluding their own apps from Amazon. Doesn't really make sense.

If they did get around to support the Kindle HD line of tablets,.. I wonder if that would make for a palatable (and cheap) pairing to our BlackBerry devices.

If amazon uses the appropriate android version my guess is it should work.
