Hi there, i am a first-time poster here. I have searched the web over and over and can find nothing to help me with this problem:

My Bold 9900 connects to BB Desktop Software on Windows 7 (64bit) OK with USB connection.
However, when i try to connect with Bluetooth, the Desktop Software either (1) cannot find the device, or (2) if i have deleted the device from the PC's list of devices, will find the device, but then refuse to add it to the empty list of Bluetooh devices on the "Bluetooth Configuration" menu when i click OK.

i have rebooted, reinstalled, deleted devices and tried to add them to the BB Desktop Software and NOTHING WORKS!

Anybody else had similar problems? If you have a solution, you will be saving the life of Bold 9900 that is edging perilously close to being used for target practice...
