Since I complained quite a bit about BlackBerry Link over the past year I have to say it is working pretty darn good now. I am not a tech guy but I was having a lot of problems with my computer at work. IT finally fixed it and now Link is great. It is super fast and works the way it should. I just thought I'd throw that out. It's not as good as the old Desktop software but works fine.

Syncing music is still a POS and I have to resort to drag and drop. I'm still trying to clean up the duplicates link left me with.

I can't get mine working. It reminds me of why I ditched the Bold for an iPhone. You would think with BlackBerry 10 they could have figured out that one.

I'd switch to intestinal parasites before I switched to an iPhone, no matter what problems Link may have. Incidentally, my issue was sorted by morning.

Firstly which version/OS are you using which phone.
Are you connecting, or not through wifi or USB.
Have you tried rebooting the phone and PC if connecting with usb have you tried leaving the bb on the pc and rebooting the PC.
Have you uninstalled Link, cleaned the registry then reinstall.

Does it matter whether mac or pc? I am mac (mavericks).

There is a section dedicated to Mac users and Link I have included a "link" to a relevant topic, it may be best to look and repost under this heading as Mac users will be able to offer Mac related help.
They will be able to give version info etc relevant to you.

It doesn't look like Ive done the "link" correctly, but search the above phase and ill get you there. The forum is listed next to Link, "Mac Users"

Well good things don't last forever...today Link would not recognize my phone. So I deleted Link and downloaded it again. No it syncs but very slowly.

Any other options for syncing? I tried the Microsoft Outlook Connector but it will not sync job titles.

My Z10 is a great phone but Link and the battery drain are becoming more of a nuisance to deal with.

Link has been working well for me since a couple of updates ago. Remote File Access has been 100% reliable for months now.

Link will recognize my phone 60% of the time, and randomly fixes itself. No amount of reboots on either the host system or the phone do anything reliably.

Remote file access works 10% of the time through cellular data, 30% of the time when connected via wifi, even the same LAN.

Also the interface is terrible.

Mine was working for about a whole 4 months. Then it stopped recognizing my Z10 a few weeks ago.
I ordered a Z30, and it came today. Now I have a shiny useless BRICK that I can't load my contacts or apps onto.
I'm disgusted. If it's not fixed today I'm sending the Z30 back.

Try reinstalling Link. I am not an expert but have done this a few times and sometimes it works. Good luck!
