Was playing around with a couple of my devices connected to BlackBerry Link. A message popped up saying to update, now I have 1.2.4 installed.

Haven't played with it yet to see what has changed.

Likely means OS update is imminent.

On the BlackBerry website, v1.2.3.56 is the current download.

Maybe if you have been playing with 10.3.1 it updates link?

FYI. BlackBerry Link 1.2.4 was bundled with BlackBerry Blend for a while.

Do you have to have administrator permissions to run the update? I have a work laptop and only have user permissions. Is there a guide on how to install the update, there seems to be more than just click "update". Again maybe that's because it's a work laptop.

Gajja - I am not prompted to update after opening Link in Win7 as either a User or Administrator. Where is this elusive 1.2.4 release?
