Ok, so I upgraded my Blackberry Desktop software to the new 6.0 version.
I am trying to connect to my 9630 Tour via Media sync, and I get the message - 'Media Services Not Available' you must have mass storage mode turned on.....etc....

The tour is running OS and the mass storage mode is enabled as is
    MTP (media transfer protocol).

When I try to connect the BB asks for my password and the connect icon flashes on and off.

I had this problem with earlier versions of the desktop manager, and the only work around in the old version was to use the Roxio media tool, (which is no longer used in 6.0)

I would suggest just not using this anymore, or a USB. I always had connection issues, or had it take forever. It is substantially easier if you use an application to sync your phone... I use the mIQ app, free from Best Buy. Easy to sync and transfer data. Good luck with the fix
