    Yes, it should. To be safe you can always back up your contacts through your email via the newest BBM.

    Thanks for reply. I thought my daughter said she lost all her contacts when she upgraded to 5, so i should be able to backup and upgrade without losing bbm contacts? Thanks

    Yupp - you can back em up through DM and then upgrade to the new BBM without any issues.

    When I upgraded to 5 I had no issues with my contacts being lost.
