    I have a Storm (Verizon) and had put a password lock on it.
    My friend tried to access my phone and used all the attempts, which resulted in a complete wipe of my phone.

    It now has a white screen that says: "resinstall software: 513"

    I called Tech Support who told me to resinstall software using Desktop Manager.
    My issue is that I have never been able to get the Desktop Manager to install on my computer. I have tried a desktop PC and a laptop PC and it is has frozen both computers. I have tried to download from the site, and it would not install properly there either.

    My questions are:
    1. Has anyone else experienced problems with Desktop Manager like this, and if so, how did you resolve it?

    2. Has anyone with Verizon had their BB wiped and not been able to restore it, and if so, did Verizon replace the phone?

    3. Is there anything I can do short of trying yet another computer to restore my phone's software?
