Switching from Z10 to Z30, used Link, and later noticed that all media files (possibly other files too) were timestamped with value at time of switch. Obviously this is critical info - is this a known problem, and is there a way to avoid or even fix it please?

I have been using the new phone for a few days so now media files from old and new are mixed and no easy way to separate.

It has unfortunately always done that, with any restore. On the rare occasion I did restore, I always backed up internal media, then deleted before performing a backup/switch, or things like screenshots would suddenly jump to the front. Super annoying for sure!

If you have a backup on your PC, delete them from the new phone, then drag and drop them from the PC.

Thanks. I'll try that. At least I know I am not alone in my misery.

Of course, it would be easier if I COULD actually complete a backup using Link, but I have the hanging backup bug....
