I have a Win7 x64 machine running it properly. Try downloading the installer again

Yep, same here. it IS a temperamental beast, but, I generally have it working.
It used to work on my Win7-64bit Ultimate machine too, until it didn't. Two days ago it stopped recognizing my Z10 and now it has removed all BB drivers and won't reinstall - give me a "rolling back actions" message with no other info about why it's failing.
So now I can't sync or back up or even get BB Link running, nor does my Z10 appear as virtual drives in Windows anymore.
BB Link is crap and I'm getting sick of wasting time wrestling with just trying to reinstall it.
Unintstall link
Follow that up with a registry wiper (wise for example... or revo uninstaller
Reboot
Reinstall link
Try again

I run it on Win 7 Pro 64bit. No special compatibility settings or anything. Straight install.
I have it working fine in win 7 64bit. Not si great in Win 8 64bit - but I haven't tried troubleshooting (don't really care much)

I always had issues with it.. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.. after re-formatting my Laptop and re-installed Win7 Pro 64bit, i was able to get it to backup 1 time and now for the last week backups keep failing.
I tried to uninstall it, remove obvious registry settings.. and still no go.
That used to be the case for me too. But after it wouldn't recognize my Z10 after a USB connection anymore, it wouldn't upgrade to the .32 version (gave the "rolling back actions" error message) and then failed completely. Used Windows Uninstall to remove it, now no version of link will install, nor will it install Windows drivers to allow access to the Z10's storage as disk drives. Same "rolling back actions" error message.
Have run registry cleaners, antivirus, malware and all the other cleaners I can find including Revo and Wise. Have searched the Registry and Device Manager to remove all references to RIM or BlackBerry. Yet the problem persists even after all things BlackBerry have supposedly been removed.
If I could get a hint from the software about what's interrupting it and causing the "rolling back" stuff, I might be able to figure this out, but so far nothing seems to have worked. Have never had this much trouble debugging software installation.
It's apparently a problem for more than a few people; myself included. I have owned a Q10 since the first week it went on sale, and I still haven't been able to run a backup on it because Link will not install. I've posted in the Blackberry Beta Zone discussion forums, emailed my install log, and have received no response. There's even a 'tab' in the Beta Zone page for Link for reporting 'Blackberry Link won't complete installation.'
After running a failed install, look in C:\Users\*user*\AppData\Local\Temp. There should be 'BBLink_Install.log'. Open that up, scroll to the very bottom, it should say something like, 'Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name....' scroll to the right and there should be an, 'Installation success or error status' Mine is 1603, curious as to what yours is
Fyi I'm also running link on Win8 64with no errors
