With older versions of BB desktop manager it saved your apps to C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Temp. With 5.0 it doesn't seem to be doing that any longer. I just took my storm in because the screen failed on me and came home expecting to be able to restore my apps but i can't seem to find the folder where it stores the backups... am i doing something wrong? Does bb DM 5.0 still store them in the same location? Or is it completely different?
Also, i'm getting the following error when trying to restore from a backup i made with the old version of the desktop manager...
"The application is not compatible with your device and cannot be loaded"
Did you actually search your computer for folders with your pin number? Also what OS are you on and what app are you trying to restore? Can you just install DM 4.7 and try it?
