I have Desktop Manager 6.0.0.43 and ever since I upgraded, my automatic backup of my C drive has failed. When I look in the backup log, it says that it tried to backup my BlackBerry backup files:

ERROR >>> C:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\BlackBerry\Backup\BlackBerry Tour 9630.ipd Access denied

I selected not to encrypt the files in Desktop Manager (and have checked and rechecked it). Any ideas on how to fix this? I'm not overjoyed that my backup files are not being backed up with the rest of my hard drive, if you know what I mean.

Looks like this may be it:

BlackBerry files report as Access Denied when Seagate Manager or Maxtor Manager attempts to backup the .IPD files

I will try it.
