    when i plug my blackberry in it asked for a device password?

    i have a 4 digit pin on my blackberry and presumed it wants that, but it just keeps asking me and gives me 10 tries... i know my pin as i lock my phone all the time... any ideas?

    Is the PIN the only password you have on it? Is it the one that you use to unlock the device?

    its the password that you have on your device... Make sure that you dont have caps lock on on your computer.

    I know what i did first with this was enter the number version of my pin.

    took me a couple tries and i figured that its letters that i had saved my actual PIN as...once i did that all was good.
