This has been happening to me with the DM 7 and the previous version also. Whenever I go into the applications section ,and shows the updates that are available on my phone, it will always show a BBM verison that is a downgrade or earlier version then the one i'm currently using. Example DM shows a downgrade to BBM 6.0.1.36. There is no way to remove this update from happening (i assume because BBM is part of the OS)Other applications have the option.
Does anyone else see this situation?
I haven't seen that but RIM ONLY has the 6. desktop on their site now. It seems that they took down DM 7 (I asume they are working on a fix).
I used to have a similar problem with certain apps when upgrading.
If I said yes, it would delete certain apps and I would be forced to sideload them.
I would have to agree that it's because they know it's a problem, or they know it won't work with the update, or they are fixing it, or they don't want to fix it.... who can know, but I'm sure there's a good reason for it.
ya i couldnt find it as well .. hope they get it fixed soon with pb2.0
