    It looks fairly similar, but, not sure if you can respond to emails based on what I read. Also don't see some features as useful since it requires rooting which is not common knowledge for most users.

    Biggest difference is that Airdroid 3 give you a phone experience on a desktop. Blend give you a desktop experience of the data on your phone on the desktop. If there is real estate on the screen, why not use it?

    Based on what I have read so far, I think Blend is better because it borrows your computer to project anything is going on on the phone. When you disconnect, there is nothing remain in the computer.
