Hey all, I was wondering what version of desktop manager everyone is running? I'm about to upgrade my girlfriend's BB and I want to make sure I don't &^%# anything up lol. Thanks for help.

I think the Crackberry guides don't recommend versions above 4.7 for updating OS. I use 4.7 and I have no problems with it what so ever, but I also think the stability of your computer is a factor as well. Kill most of your background apps, and disable and power saving features during an update. Just from my experience using my crappy laptop, sometimes it freezes when it comes back from standby.

i used 4.6 forever and refused to upgrade. however, since i do all my OS loading through the loader process, i upgraded to the most recent version.

i use 4.7... if you intend to do firmware updates in the future i suggest you use 4.7.. if not, just DL the latest..
