I am transistioning from Boostberry 8350i to a Boost 8330: had a very good experience iwth the 8350i (first BB). I used the BBDM to transfer my settings over to the 8330 and wipe the 8350i. I plan to sell the 8350i, however, I did not test the 8350i after the wipe and the SIM is no longer active.

Has anyone wiped their boostberry 8350i with the BBDM and restarted the phone with service working? I am pretty shure that the wipe only affects the data an not the settings \ service books, however, I would like to check with the community before I put it up for sale.

Relevant experiences \ lessons learned are appreciated. Thanks.

Yes I need to know how to wipe mine clean too. It won't be still in service though but when I get my EVO my 8350I is going on Craigslist.

U can do a wipe from the handset. From main screen press menu-->options (wrench icon)-->security options-->press menu-->select wipe handheld. This puts it in default factory settings as though u just took it out of the box new. U will still need to format the micro sd card.
