Now that it has been a few days and folks have mostly gotten over the initial shock of not only the Priv by BlackBerry name but also the fact that BlackBerry will officially be releasing an Android-powered handset, I wanted to go ahead and sort of revisit a question we raised previously.

I will not spend what will likely be $700 a a guinea pig for BlackBerry to figure out why their alleged security makes google's android OS go NUTS . Bogg down to sludge, I will not buy the device which I believe will better be called the "TIPPER" because it tips over sliding out from your numbed thumbs while finally TIPPING the scales for the moribund maker of this FRANKEN-blackberry cloaked as a real smartphone but really neither smart nor phone... not me now...

I planned to buy the Slider or Passport SE, but with BlackBerry's behavior against BB10, feels like it's better to switch to another platform

From the chen video preview, seems priv doesnt have gesture feature, nor integrated hub. What else we expected from priv?.

Im not a really fans of android, because its data hunger, always updating anytime specially their apps. Dont understand, why those devs so actively updating their app..

Good luck BlackBerry. Change is good.

I just cant buy an android phone after having BlackBerry. If they put it out in BB10, maybe eventually i would go ahead and get one. If I buy another BB it will be the Classic first. Other than that i have a pretty good supply of perfectly good BB phones to use.
