    Interesting idea. BB have clearly given up on BBM and are gradually selling it off, just like they are gradually dumping BB10, hardware, BIS and all the other stuff we came to love them for.

    I think what Chen is really doing is a slow-motion break-up and sell-off of the company's most worthwhile assets. One day we will wake up and see that BlackBerry is just a collection of licensing agreements and acquired software portfolios.
