I'm actually still on Google Messenger 1.9 cus I think the UI looked great until version 2 came out.
I have used AirDroid for 4 years and trust them more than Google to handle my messages over the web. AirDroid can even run off the local network with no servers in between!
Can't wait to try this, but it's still not showing up as available on Keyone, even after update.
It's for your computer. Says so in the article.
It is, but has to be enabled via phone and the option isn't showing up
The phone update will arrive, give it time.
Was an update available yesterday morning, and Android Messages rarely ever gets an update in the time I've had this phone, so was pretty sure that was it. No biggie, but will be a nice feature.
If you look at the update info on Play Store the app update was actually created on the 14th. There is a more recent one than that one rolling out. So patience.
Update hit Play Store. It does contain "Messenger for web".
Ya, got a 2nd update yesterday and in the play store description it states that 'messages for web' is part of the update, but still doesn't show up in my menu.
You?
Yup.
That option is not showing up on my phone yet.
Does this device app update include sending a message using the Enter key?
No.
Errr! I would switch in heart bit. So annoying.
