In speaking with Reuters, BlackBerry CEO John Chen said that within the next 18 months, he plans to introduce high-end devices that cater to the "keyboard aficionados." BlackBerry has at least three different devices in the works and that "the focus is going to be very keyboard centric."

I'm hoping a 5-inch 1080p, octa-core with 64-bit all-touch is gong to be released. There were rumors going around about these specs so only time will tell...

I'm actually quite upset that Blackberry has chosen not to involve any all touch devices in its plans.

I understand keyboard devices are the backbone of this company but do we really need 3 different keyboard models? I thought one would at least be a Z50 or something along those lines.

With all this happening in the next 18 months I can't see when we'd get our hands on a new Z series device. I'm a little disappointed as Blackberry is really the only phone I want to use. Nothing wrong with my Z30 but I'm the kind of guy who likes to have a new phone every year haha (it's a guilty pleasure). Who knows though I'm hoping I like the keyboard models, could restore the 9700-9900 days!

If this is necessary to revive the company then by all means but I equally think Blackberry could incorporate a touch screen model.

Big disappointment. Loved my touchscreen keyboard on my Z10. Love it even more on my Z30. However, I do hope one of these flagships will be a 5-5.2" touchscreen with a slide out keyboard (resurrection of the slider phone). That is something I would enjoy greatly, but still highly doubt that will come true.
