    Telegram still is not normally end2end encrypted. You must extra invite every single partner to a "secret chat". This does not work in the desktop version and cannot be used multi-device. Better is using 1. BBMe, 2. Threema (is very tricky for multi-device use) or 3. Signal (has less features, is not syncing multi-device). Telegram is popular, but most use it without the end2end encryption because it is no standard.
