It would seem as though the Android-powered BlackBerry rumors are continuing to flow. Adding to the already mounting rumors that BlackBerry is building an Android smartphone is longtime leaker @evleaks who noted on Twitter that the slider, which has taken on the name 'Venice' will be Android-powered and headed to AT&T.

If the Venice (new slider) is running Android I won't be buying it.

If I wanted an Android phone their are plenty of options out there already.

If these rumours are true, Blackberry is completely out to lunch on this one.

Knowing Verizon, they will probably get the low end version slider which is rumored to come out first

Yeah, I hear you, and I agree with your first point, I chose BlackBerry because I like their brand AND software they are running. It's simple, it's classy, it's productive. So if they switch to android ill wait until my devices die and then move over to IOS. Can't stand android.

But BlackBerry is trying to get android users to use BlackBerry and that's why they are testing it out. It will be a really stupid mistake to discontinue BB10
