Received this in the mail today, from Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!. It is the charging dock for the Blackberry Bold, it was a gift to me from a friend. The design is really nice with silver/black, complementing the device, looking really executive. This only CHARGES the Bold and DOES NOT sync w/ your computer. Currently i am using it next to my bed or on my desk. In case some viewers were wondering it will not work with a silicone case sitting into the dock. Enjoy my unboxing and visit my youtube page to subscribe for upcoming videos of mine.

It doesnt charge with any case on the Bold. Just the device only on the charging dock will work

I have it and like it. One clarification... when you put the Bold on the dock, what should happen?

* Nothing?
* Go to Clock?
* Go to Bedside Mode?

Mine goes to Clock. I was hoping it would also enter Bedside Mode automatically but it does not.

I agree... for the price its a MUST HAVE! Probably my favorite bold accessory since I use it NIGHTLY. Might get a second one for the office, makes a great gift as well for friends with bb's!

I have it set so that as soon as I place my bold in the dock it goes into bedside mode!

I will admit, I was a little disappointed when I found out that it won't charge, but you know, it's still nifty. The microUSB is less than perfect and I don't want to risk damaging with a charge cord.

Now I just need to figure out how to sync/tether my BB over Bluetooth...
