Wanna save money and have WiFi access then check out freedoms unlimited talk & text @ 30 bucks. Hit WiFi hotspots for free data. I am using a Q5 and loving it. Let's face it most people do not really don't have to be connected 24/7.
I love connecting at home and doing my Internet thing. When I am away it's a damn reliable talk and text phone all for 80 dollars.
Cool thing is BlackBerry OS10 offers way more support, speed and reliability then any of its competitors for under a 100 bucks. There is a market for these phones albeit low end.
I love owning a BlackBerry at a price that has been knocked off by 400 bucks.

I got my mother a plan from Wind. It was 25 talk and text, and she was using my Z10 and then Z30 for a while.

Unfortunately their coverage is still terrible, so i moved to Public on the Telus network, about 27 for just talk, but she doesn't text anyway.

I hit the public wifi spots too but with a prepaid account from Speakout Wireless (Rogers MVNO). No phone bill every month which works out to roughly $3.00/month.

The mint on here is pretty good unlimited text and talk and data for less what what you guys are showing. Think my 1 yrs plan = about 12-15$ a month for 5 GB data.

I've been with every Canadian Network (except Telus) and finally said, "enough is enough", am now with Speakout PAYGO for the last two odd yrs. Couldn't've been happier!
