Hi,

I've been living with a cracked z30 screen for too long now and looking on Amazon.ca, prices are over 100.00 for the screen. I had order one for my old Z30, but after realising a new screen was not going to fix it, I just bought a new Z30 instead.

When this screen cracked, I thought great, I have a screen to replace it.

Unfortunately, when I switched it, the screen came on and then started blinking on and off. I think that I bent the connector while taking it out of the bubble wrap: doh!

Anyway, I'm hoping someone may have an old z30 with screen intact, or a line on good supplier for a reasonable price. I really can't go over 50. I two old Torches I could trade - they work fine but the USB port is worn, and charging can be disrupted easily.

Anyone?

I'm in Ontario, so maybe a Waterloo elite has a line on screens?

It's the Canadian model, no cracks/chips/ scratches. Not sure if it's related to the screen but I have no mic on calls unless I'm on speakerphone.

I would not want to lose calling. I am going to read it on the mic design and see what I find. Have you ever taken the screen off?

Screen on z30 is super easy to change out. Changed over a hundred of them in Fort Mac for guys when I worked there. That and the z10 are two of the easiest repaired screens I've ever worked with.
