    GSM vs. CDMA shouldn't make a difference, though.

    Yea but don't I need to put a SIM in the phone? How if the phone is Verizon?

    Recent Verizon phones--including the Classic--come with SIM card slots. Verizon itself uses SIM cards for LTE. The slots read GSM carriers' SIM cards too.

    Not that I would recommend buying a Verizon phone for use on AT&T, given other options (like...an AT&T model of the same phone.) But in a pinch, the newer Verizon BB10 phones will do decently well enough on AT&T.

    I think I might just stick to the cash. I'm contemplating on getting back to the passport. I can't stand small phones anymore. Lol. The change to classic was much too drastic. Plus the passport keeps me from tempting to text and drive. Lol.
