How secure and trustworthy is the "buy, sell, trade" on crackberry community?? I mean is there a lot of scammers? And how to beware of them.

The transactions are done over PayPal, and we have pretty strict regulations. Just like any sites, payment needs to be sent first before goods sent. Also we don't have a success fee. Chat more here ...

I'm saying trade for trade. Straight across. No money involved. How secure is that?

Check their feedback posts. Usually if the trade was good, people leave positive feedback for the person they traded with.
No one wants negative feedback. Check and see if they have done many successful trades. I have done several trades on CB and one on WC. All good so far!

I just did a trade straight up. Look for a couple of things. Look at their post count. Make sure that they are at least active in the forums. At that point, it's pretty much the honor system.

It sucks, but doing your homework will minimize the chances of you getting scammed.

I'm typing this one the phone I traded for.

instead of PayPal you can use something like shieldpay - unlike PayPal they protect both buyer and seller. for any size trade they verify the id of both sides so you know the other person is legit, and they hold your money in their 'vault' until you're both happy with the trade. if something goes wrong, they handle all disputes, so it's less risky.

You don't yet meet marketplace guidelines anyway - https://forums.crackberry.com/buy-se...elines-155609/ but once you do, you can refer to that post for the posting template.
