I don't know HOW Anyone out there can use this phone with absolutely no case! It's so heavy and slippery and with the glass running all the way to the edge in so scared to take it with me anywhere. I'm so upset my case is taking so long to come in the mail. I've gone to several Verizon stores to try to buy one but they said they sent all the BlackBerry stuff back. Wtf is that about? Smh.

Omg you guys are brave! I guess my hands are really dry and that back is so slippery for me. I'm scared to drop it and crack the glass. On my z10 I have a really nice black bumper with a clear back showing off the white backplate. That bumper makes all the difference in the world when it comes to holding the phone for long periods of time.

I use the Carbonite holster from the Beta Zone myself, and the original screen protector that ships with the device.

At a minimum I'd suggest you go online and buy a BlackBerry Transform, which is thin, decent quality, and not bulky at all.

I use mine naked with the OEM leather swivel holster. I'm just careful when removing it and putting it back into the holster, as well as handling it. It is definitely more slippery than my old Z10, which I also used naked combined with its OEM leather swivel holster. I do think the phone would be too big with a case on it. My holster is already pretty big on my belt...

Otterbox Defender for me (i'm a construction and maintenence electrician). I went almost a week with no protection since there was not a store in my town that carries a case for it. Best Otterbox I've ever owned paired with the best phone i've ever owned. I never leave home without it.

Naked is nicer. It's the real deal. On serious note, it's a matter of personal preference. I only use the " BlackBerry Carbonite" case only when I am moving around and not using the phone, just to protect my phone if it accidentally falls down. Do what makes you happy.

I go back and forth. I definitely like the look/feel of it naked. But like others, I just don't trust myself not to drop it when I get out of the car, or accidentally miss my pocket. So some days I use BlackBerry Transform, other days naked.

Mine is also naked and I have no screen protector.

I have the leather pouch and I only use it when I am out because I don't want my phone to scratch when I out because I put my Z30 in my pocket..but when I use the phone it is naked always.

At home I never use my leather pocket..its naked as well.

No scratches as yet..been 3 months so far.

My Q10 as well was naked and I had it for 9 months.. no scratches what's so ever. I take care of my phone like it's my baby haha.

I have three cases. The blackberry hard case which just covers the back and sides. No screen protector. I also have the Aegis Trident which was way too bulky but the one I use most is the Noreve case. This is just really nice and good protection. I want to go naked but I think of all the times I've dropped my previous BlackBerry devices and I just don't think this will hold up the same.

Rockin the Otterbox Commuter right now but it makes for a big device. Hoping CrackBerry will make a Crunk case for the Z30 and then I can just keep the Commuter for drunken bar nights.
