    Why is there a BlackBerry Virtual Expert test for wireless charging? It says to place it on a charging pad to test.

    Any clues? Does this actually work?

    I think the Verizon model is the only with wireless charging and yes it does work. At least in the USA vzw had an exclusive on wireless charging.

    In general, Qi wireless charging works about 25-50% slower than traditional charging. It depends on the charging pad and how centered the phone is placed on it. I've read reports that the amperage will be cut in half on some charging pads if the phone is not centered on it perfectly.

    Yes it shows it's charging and I've never timed either. I just charge when I go to bed. I have a Tylt? charger which is more like a stand. If I put something under the back end it works just like a dock.

    Don't need to be centered on this one.

    The Verizon version of the Z30 is the only one with wireless charging... I have the Verizon Z30 and the Tylt wireless charging and LOVE it!

    Me too! I just got my Tylt earlier today. My Z30 does wireless charging on it even with the BlackBerry Transform case on the device. Just a little too warm, though.

    I have seen someone say that there is an adapter that goes in the door and plugs into the USB port.
