How would you compare Z30's earpiece volume to Note 3's one ?

Is it true that its volume is way below the average ?
I find this detail very important.

Z30's speaker volume is even louder than HTC One, I would say it is way ABOVE average.

Sorry, I have to specify.

I would like to know what the earpiece volume looks like, not speakers'.

I am particularly puzzled by this tread http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...update-902475/ and would appreciate an exact answer.

Too bad I don't know of a store in Toronto where I could try a Z30 out to be able to compare on my own.

i personally use the Sennheiser CX 300B MK II , i never like the default ear-buds with the phones, so for me the sound and volume is ok, i just wish the z30 music player came with an equalizer but i think its coming in 10.3.

maybe it's just me but I found the z30 screen too bright out of the box. I actually had to turn it way down. maybe I'm slowly turning blind. or maybe the rest of the world is because I can't look at other peoples phones. the brightness always hurts my eyes.

The Z30 looks great, but I would be the first to say in a side-by-side comparison the Z10 does look more crisp.

I can't speak to your phone as I haven't used it.

I fell in love with the Note 3 screen too. And the camera.
But as far as a "smart phone " goes, you will not regret the z30.
Easily the best phone I have ever had or used!!

Earpiece volume is much better on the Note 3...I have had both at the same time. That is one very weak point of the Z30. When using wired or Bluetooth earphones, the sound was quite low and dull on the Z. The N3 on the other hand is much more crisp and quite a bit louder. I have a Blue Parrot BT headset that I use, so this was extremely important to me.

No I was talking about speaker volume. Z30's earpiece volume is very loud too, I use one of those skull candy earpiece... never tried the original one, it's still in the box.

This is exactly what I was afraid of.
I have been using Note 2 and find earpiece volume is excellent.
I also find that it is acceptable on Q5 and very good through a Bluetooth headset.

But always using BT is not a solution...

Spec wise the Z10 screen is better, but I like the Z30 screen much better. I don't know what it is about it, but it just feels nice. The point of this post is that the screen specs don't tell the whole picture.
