Currently own a Blackberry Q10. On average I get around 20-26 hours on it before I have to charge it again. Out of curiosity is the Z30 the same if not better with battery life? Take into account I mainly use my phone for text messaging, 1-2 hours a day of Web browsing, and checking FB daily. Thanks!!
My Z30 seems to last forever. It gets a lot of use. Whenever I go to bed, I put in on the charging pad. Sometimes it's still at 40 to 50. It will easily last a day...maybe longer if i use it conservatively.
I gave no fancy battery graph logs or number of hours to report here but some simple first hand experience.
I had a Q10 for about 6 months and have now had my Z30 for a little over a month. I can be a very heavy user and my usage habits have been nearly identical for both devices.
The Q10 I frequently needed to charge it well before the end of the day. Now with the Z30 I rarely ever am in need of a charge before my day is done. I'd say I get an extra 3hours of battery life (or about 20% better)
Again, these are rough numbers based on my personal heavy usage with similar settings and usage habits on both devices over time. But the Z30 has significantly better battery life than the Q10.
Have both Q10 and Z30. My experience back to back (one day Q10 next day Z30 one day Q10 - don't ask why) is that I am getting 40% better battery. Q10 would be spent to single digits by the end of a day (5:30 AM to 11 PM) and the Z30 was at ~45% - same hours and same tasks.
I had a Q10 that I sold a few days back. It had a decent battery life but didn't hold a candle to the Z30. That thing is a beast. I don't think I've ever pushed a phone that hard and got such great results. =)
