I spent a day with my friend in the mountains on Sunday. His phone is a Note 3 so I got a pretty good look how the phone worked.

Note 3 's screen is much better looking than Z30, that is the first thing I noticed. It's much bigger too. The battery life of Note 3 appears to be a little better but that could be because he used it less than me. It may also be a little faster than my Z30, I am not sure.

But Z30 wins the day for me because there was once we need to record a video on a Rubicon crossing a creek, his Note 3 crushed and I captured the whole moment with my Z30.

Is this an isolated event?

my note 3 has never crashed on any video recording, must be isolated incident but I still want my z30, sometime soon, maybe when the z50 comes out.

I have both a Z30 and a Note 3 and I can't get off my Z30. I recently got the Note 3 and I haven't found anything attractive enough to keep me hooked on it. I love the note 3 camera, and the screen but that's about it.

The dual screen thing on the note is not as attractive because you can't put any app you want. My brother also got a note and he was really disappointed (note, he is a android fan) that he couldn't put an emulator in one side and YouTube on the other. He used my z10 and he loved it, except for the fact that the screen is too small for him.

Sounds like the only thing the note 3 has over the Z30 is a better resolution screen. Poor android getting beat in every way by good ol blackberry let's see...better security, no lag, no glitchy crap, no memory leak, and more and better apps! the million android apps plus the couple hundred thousand bb10 apps make bb10 the best os around for miles. Did I also mention no malware adware or virus with bb10 and nsa can't snoop.

Lol that's weird, but I well
I want the z30 to have the same screen resolution and brightness as the note, and that's about it
