Just wanted to share that I bought a Z30 STA100-5 factory unlocked on eBay from Swiftronics. They are based out of Canada. I made the order on Wednesday evening and had the phone this afternoon. Talk about fast!

The price was very good as well. About $50-100 less than other sellers of STA100-5.
New, unopened box.

Loving my Z30 so far.
Now I need to upgrade to 10.2.1, because AT&T goPhone doesn't show the update available.
Yes, you read that right, I put it on AT&T GoPhone, because it was the best price for me right now. The AT&T $45 a month plan they advertise on TV doesn't include a $40 per month line charge. So, it is cheaper to pay month-to-month in advance.

I bought it from the same seller too and using it with T-Mobile unlimited plan. BTW I am keep checking for update but not able to get it yet. Don't know why?

TMO doesn't carry this phone, much less have OSes available for it. You'll have to get the update another way, of which there are at least two (pop in a foreign SIM, install the leak.)

Actually...I partially take back my previous post. If you have an unlocked phone, you should be seeing an update. In this thread, people using Z30s on AT&T are seeing it, but not everyone.

I bought an unlocked z30 100-5 from a Canadian seller last Friday and I got the update yesterday. I am on T Mobile USA, the funny thing is that after the update, I had a Telus My Account app on the phone.

I think it's great, now I will be able to get my updates when the folks on Telus of Canada do. I am loving my z30 and I will being doing a thread about my first 7 days with the device and how it compared with my IPhone 5s which I sold on Saturday.

The -2 were cheaper than the -5, not sure the -1 would be the same price.

The -5 is better for AT&T coverage-wise, as you have a better chance of getting LTE with it. With the -2, you have none.

I have also purchased the z30 from the person mentioned by the OP. I am on Tmobile USA. Get lots of LTE coverage.

I too am hoping to get the update somehow. Don't want to risk the leak.


Super phone though. Great price and the dude shipped overnight at no extra charge.
