I really want a wireless charging Z30 but won't go back to Verizon from T-Mobile.

I researched the frequencies but it's really confusing. Does anyone know how much I would give up by using a Verizon Z30 on T-Mobile in the U.S.?

    Thanks!

I did this and could not figure it out but also things change over time because carriers adjust their frequencies.

T-Mobile did add LTE Band 71 , but that doesn't help an old Verizon Classic.

A Z30, not Classic. Does that help?

Not a single BB device has it.

Anyway, T-Mobile has their bands in a support document: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-4988

Of the bands supported by the Z30 STA100-3 (https://forums.crackberry.com/blackb...encies-850736/), it's only LTE band 4 and GSM 1900 MHz, with the caveat mentioned in the list that LTE band 4 might not work outside of Verizon.

If you're fine with 2G only, then by all means go ahead.

Thanks. Then I guess the big question is what are users' experience with LTE band 4 on these devices after they move off of Verizon. I guess I could just try it and see.

It depends on your area... their Band 4 Deployment isn't universal. Maybe check with someone that has T-Mobile in your area. There are Apps, that will tell them what frequencies are bands are available on their phone
