    Every time I make a call on my phone it's very scratchy and it sounds like the person is in a tunnel. This just started out of the blue. Any ideas.

    Hey guys it might be hardware relegated or software, so you can try loading a leak to see if it fixes it, I would suggest the 2947 leak ,that's what I run on my Z30 in Calgary on Telus.

    Ya so it's good then it's not hardware. Try just a hard reset and see if it helps.

    Hold the volume up and down buttons for about 30 sec until you see the blue loading circle.

    Well maybe it's your network, if it just happened , cause you would probably have to put a new os on would be all I could think of.

    Yea I was shocked how easy and quick it went in the store today. She made one call and was like yea we will send you a new on since there not in stock in stores. Should have it Tuesday. Thanks for all the help.

    I bought a z30 off contract at full retail and I'm having the speaker hissing issue. I also noticed my pwr button is loose. I called a store and they wouldn't honor replacement because it was passed 14 says. They said to call support. I called and they wouldn't honor because I wasn't using their service. They said to call blackberry. I guess forget it as I heard that's a nightmare. Hopefully the speakers will be ok and it'll just do the hissing and that's it. I noticed other users have the issue and they deal with it. Little irritating as I spent over $500 and I have these issues. The loose pwr button isn't too big of a deal but it makes me feel like I have a cheapo device. I enjoy the phone otherwise.

    send it back through the carrier for warranty work , they will give you a loaner , then it will come back better than new,

    I'm not on verizon. I'm using it on att. They won't honor warranty work as I'm not using Verizon service. I bought it off contract at full retail price.

    should not matter take the sim card out and take it back where you bought it and tell them to send it back for warranty

    I won't be able to today. When I was calling about my q10 I had blackberry told me to go back to point of purchase. Which was an eBay seller. I got a refund in that case from all seller. I think blackberry mainly helps out of you buy direct from them. If I get the chance this week I'll call but I'm not holding my breath.
