    Just trying to understand the resolution of the Z30...

    It's listed as being 720 x 1280 and has 5 rows of icons, while the Z10 is 768 x 1280 and only has 4 rows of icons.

    Why can't the Z10 have 5 rows of icons??

    Not enough real estate. The Z30 is taller, thus the allowance for another row.

    Now that you pointed that out, why can't the Z30 have 768 x 1280? Not sure why they'd dumb down the resolution as they go along.

    From what I know, full-touch BB10 devices were always planned to feature 1280x720 displays. For the Z10 however, they only had those x768 screens available. Note has also been giving out to developers back last year they should primarily aim to suppport that 720pp resolution.

    As for the icons size, it seems like the Z30 just uses smaller icons, thus it can fit 5 rows on the screen instead of 4. I don't know if there is any way to enable these smaller icons on the Z10.
