Twice now my wife's z30 has shut down and has been unresponsive for several minutes. Both times she was using Apollo and she is on VZ's stock OS.

Anyone else experience this? Seems like this would be a good time to have a removable battery.

I'm first going to delete and reinstall Apollo and then reinstall the stock OS if that doesn't work.

Any other ideas?

While I don't have a Z30, I think the course of action you described would be the best! I have used Apollo before and didn't notice any problem like random reboots.

Press both volume keys for 10+ s. That will interrupt the circuit, just like a battery pull would, without actually pulling the battery
