My Z30 is running the leak 10.2.1.1925 and now there is a new radio (1926) and i read differente stories about battery life.

Do you install it and how bad or good is it.

When I initially loaded up 10.2.1.1925 with the 1899 radio. My battery life was absolutely phenomenal as it has always been with my Z30.
I then tried the 1926 radio. My battery life went downhill. I gave it 3 days to see if anything would change but it didn't. I was at about 12 to 14 hours of battery life and faster drain than normal when using the device.
The worst part is, I loaded 1899 back up and it helped a little but not back to what it was originally. I'm thinking that loading the radio on separately is not the same as a full autoloader (from my experience).
I am going to wipe everything and reload the full 10.2.1.1925.

I'm in the same boat. Seems like 1926 is draining my battery too. Not in a massive manner but more so than 1899.

Ya, its not like it used to be. I don't remember the last time I had a 24hr run time no charge with my Z30 Honestly seems the same for me whether is 1899 or 1926.

I only got my Z30 on Friday. Updated it immediately to OS 1925+1926 radio so don't know what the battery life would've been like on the official carrier OS. That was 10.1.0.xxx. What I'm stoked about is not having to top up my battery during the day now. Had to do so twice daily on my Z10. I can get through the day now with at least 20% remaining when I go to bed.

I'm running 10.2.1.1925 with the new radio. I'm on Bell with LTE and a moderate to heavy user. No complaints here! I've noticed call quality improving from1899,1056, now 1926 but I haven't had any noticeable difference in battery life.

Ya going back to 1899 hasn't really helped as I thought it was initially. I have a feeling loading on a radio separate is the culprit. When I first loaded on 10.2.1.1925 with the 1899 radio, it was the full autoloader and that worked amazing. Loading up 1926 radio alone ruined the battery life and now 1899 alone isn't helping so that's the conclusion i've come to but could be wrong. I may try to wipe and do the autoloader with 1899 again and see if it goes back to how it was before.

    1899 lasts longer for me.

    If I were to guess, 1899 gets me 16 - 18 hours whereas 1926 gets 12 - 14 hours of similar usage.

Can't say my z30 has poor battery life on 1925 with 1926 radio. But my wifi seems to be crapping out where my z10 with the same setup remains strong. Not sure about going back to the 1899 Radio since the reports seem less than positive.

    Any suggestions?

I'm running it. I have no issues with my z30 at all with regards to the battery and the leak actually is supremely stable!

Radio 1926 was worse for me too. I must say,1899 has better battery life and reception. Unfortunately , I do agree with the others that 1899 hasn't been as good since I've switched back from 1926.
