I actually think this bb10 model maybe the one I want because of miracast and usb otg, but I generally don't like the idea of carrying around a big obnoxious phone. I've seen some pictures and it doesn't look too much bigger than the z10 but I'm wondering if you could still carry this in front pant pocket (likely) or front shirt pocket (?) with out it launching itself out everytime you bend slightly.

Absolutely you can. Don't be scared by the 5" glass, it is just a marginal difference to the current Z10 for size.

5 inch phones aren't all the same size, some have larger bezels and thickness

Its about S4 size and its not actually that big seeing as im only 13 and my hand isnt big. But it does not fit in pockets well.

Mine does too, in my tailored work trousers. So well in fact you wouldn't know it's there. Shocks people when I "whip it out", that and when I get my PB out of my pocket.
