Got the z30 and loving it.
But, I couldn't set my picture password.
I searched under device password, it's not showing up. How do I enable that?
I have my corporate email in my z30, will that be an issue?
    Appreciate your suggestions

If your device is encrypted you can't use picture password. I did not have the option until I unencrypted mine, and it showed up. I encrypted it again and it disappeared

I don't think I have it encrypted. How do I double confirm.

Okay, having corporate email disable the picture password. I removed corporate email, then picture password work. Not both at the same time.
Not sure how to enable both. Anyone had success?

The tutorial is built in when you create a password, it is dead simple, just set it up to see how it works.
If picture password is wrong 5 times it asks you for your text password, so you cannot go wrong, just make sure you set a text or number password first.

This is bs. The device encryption has nothing to do with picture password. Only corporate email can disable it.

And heaven forbid if you forget your text password, if you do, you had better have a current full backup. Nothing like waking up to a fully wiped Z30 because you forgot the password the night before

Corporate issued BB's may have a lot of IT policy restrictions that disable picture password. My firm does.

It's a fact. Try it for yourself before you make statements such as "bs", thus making a fool of yourself.

I appreciate your concern in regards to making a fool of myself.

In any case, it's pointless to make general statements regarding the behaviour of a device based on the experience from only a single device. As certain restrictions (IT policies), provider restrictions and bugs do change what a device can do.

So maybe it's time to rephrase my original statement: 'If there are no other restrictions, than BB10 let's you use device encryption and Picture Password at the same time.'

Then don't have any password. You can set your text password as simple password with just 4 numbers.
