Z30 is performing poorly in last few months....

Search of contacts to attach to text lags for up to a minute before producing results. I have to type a letter in the search field and wait a few seconds before typing next letter.
Quick view of text remained locked on the top of the screen, surrounded by a blue border, regardless of what window I was in. (required restart).
Browser constantly crashes.
BT Interface with Honda Accord is intermittent at best. While phone is connected to car, texting or email is almost impossible. Even sitting in PARK. I don't text / email/ drive.... it seems to lock up the keyboard for the first 2-3 minutes it connects.
Dropped more phone calls in last 2 months than in last 5 years of use of any phone!

Don't get me wrong, I still love the phone. But my patience is running out. I really don't want to swap over to any other OS. I have an iPhone for work and as much as I hate the OS, it just seems to do what it is supposed to do.... even though it fails to fulfill my individual needs. More of a toy than a tool.

Any thoughts on way to get the Z30 tuned up? I know you will ask, so I will tell you that I have 2300 contacts. I'm pretty sure the number isn't the issue, as it worked fine a for the life of the phone (2 years).

Regarding the crashes, do you have any Android apps installed or BB10 apps with the "Run in Background" permission active?

You may want to consider reinstalling your OS and starting over again with a clean slate. Not before you do a complete backup though, of course. You have not mentioned which OS you are running, maybe you can get the latest.

It sounds as if your phone is running out of resources. Have a look at CPU usage, storage, and memory on your Device Monitor. See if you can identify some apps that look suspicious.

I would suspect the android apps. Mine was slowing too. I uninstalled a few and it's like new again. I had tried to be sure they were not running in the back ground first. But that didn't help so much. I always kept them that way.

I don't have any Android stuff. Probably restarted it 20 times in the last month. Very frustrating.

I am going to reload the OS. Just don't have 3 hrs available any time soon.... thanks for all the advice.
Tried to post a screen shot of CPR usage. PIM Services using 67%. Is that normal?

High PIM Service utilisation may indicate a corruption in any of the account. It happened to me once. Delete and re-add account(s).

Yup and no problem for me. See Blackberry World for Ultimate Backup app. Can be restored in about 10 minutes or less.

Usually the installation of many apps reduces phone's performance

Before you do re-install the OS, try this: Stop the 'Run in the background' permission in every apps in your phone and Restart your phone.
