Is there any smartphone have better antenna than the z30...

Only the z30 does I believe have it. I dont think the z3 does even
Last time I went into this subject... I think it was the Motorola XT720 which has amazing reception, and the BlackBerry Torch too!
Regardless old school Nokia's which I used to own, which I actually fired one up (Nokia N95) a few weeks ago are amazing on reception! I was getting signal at Mile End station which is a underground tube station but yeah...
But in terms of technologies in Antennas I think the Z30 pulls away in that aspect... But most people complain saying the reception is also same to other BlackBerry 10's. I actually don't know how the technology works, all BlackBerry says it does is tune itself to the environment continuously where it saves power and gets a better signal. Parateks website says the antenna can locate sources of signal in a dimensional way and focus a beam of radio waves to signal towers. Really don't know which one is true... But yeah Motorola XT720 is best in reception..
My problem with my z10 if has a bad signal or reception it boost down battery that's why I'm thinking to buy z30 but it's to big for me.. I want the size of z10 with paratek and 2500 up battery that's it I hope they will release a phone like this... sorry for my english

I went from a Z10 to a Z30 partially for reception reasons. I didn't notice a single difference.

I havent had any first hand experience with signals on the z30 compared to z10 but I have seen others post saying they dont noticed a huge difference either.
I believe the real difference is in power savings while on standby in low reception areas. There may be a slight improvement in reception while active due to what seems like an tunable array antenna, but... where the paratek setup excels is at conserving power in low signal areas, and the Z30 battery life numbers seem to support that hypotheses.

i believe all BB10 phones, be it Z3, Z10, Z30, Q10 & Q5 have been designed with the antenna in which BB has been all well known for. and i also believe Paratek might be behind the antenna design of those BB10 phones BUT just for the Z30, they did a special treatment in which they manufacture, tune and they program the whole antenna & radio design from scratch and integrate it to the phone, so it's a FULL Paratek experience compared to the others. that's why in most cases, Z30 can:
- receive better reception
- get hold of the reception in low coverage areas
- have a significantly low possibility drop calls or unsuccessful calls
- maintain even a single bar of signal without having to drain the battery out thanks to the tunable array
- produce a faster data upload/download and lower ping/latency
- help the OS to improve the battery life during phone calls/tethering --> GSM Arena went to test the talk time of the Z30 and guess what, this phone really boggled their mind, maxing at 23 hours 48 mins of continuous 3G/H+ talk time! only big chunk android phones can be around that area (Z10 can only do 10-12 hours, Q10 is at 18-19 hours)
Most days I am not sure I can tell the differences with my z30 around town. But when I compare to my work I do notice I have better signal, usually full, compared to when I had an iPhone. Also today when me and a few people were at the lower level of a mall, I had full signal where they were struggling to keep their signal

I recently switched from a Z10 to Z30. In our fire hall it's all metal and would lose all signal with the Z10. Everyone loses signal while in the hall (I phones and androids) but with the Z30 I have 3 bars and can use the phone data and phone. Definitely noticeable!

I remember reading that the Parotek technology does not help much when the signal is strong, but will be very helpful when signal is weak.
In other words, Z30 would still be pretty fast in download in a weak reception area where Z10 can?t connect. But when Z10 is able to connect, the speed won't be faster for Z30.

I was able to make a call in the lobby of my parents condo building which is a dead zone and no phones work there.
So I was quite impressed with the paratech antenna in the Z30!!

I see a better reception on my Z30 than on my Z10 - it's not much but I have stronger reception in some areas.
But where I really see a difference is when I compare to my 5S. My employer uses a really lousy carrier that in many places have a real weak 3G/4G signal. Of course, that's not the iPhone's fault, but my Z30 only goes on Edge network 2 times during my commute to work where my iPhone does it 5. Also, the Z30 switches back to 3G/4G almost immediately, where I often have to switch on airplane mode on the iPhone so it does a search for network and discovers that a faster data network is available.
When I am at home, I have 4G on both phones, but when I'm using the iPhone, quite often, it sooner or later switches to edge. It might be me, blocking an antenna when I'm holding it but that never happens on my Z30.
I really like my iPhone, it does a lot of things really good, but combined with my works sub-standard carrier, the Z30 just suits my needs that much better!

The difference is subtle. In the most common instances, one probably would not notice much difference. At home, I notice there is no significant difference in the # of bars, but I still get 4G with no issues in my downstairs bathroom where 3G is even spotty. Same thing in the auditorium at my kids' school. And I haven't noticed significant battery drain in typically low coverage areas.

I have recently switched from Z10 to Z30 and immediately I have noticed an improvement in signal strength and 3G Network at my home. Earlier on Z10 I was getting 3G connection only in my balcony and close to windows, if I am not near window then my Z10 used to switch to EDGE. But now my Z30 is always on 3G.
I have also verified by again inserting my SIM back to Z10. Z10 has EDGE Only whereas Z30 has 3G.
So I conclude Z30 has better signals receptors.
Loving my Z30.
BlackBerry Z30 Rocks
Z30 definitely has better reception in poor coverage areas. I am in poor coverage areas regularly and quite often am the only phone which operates. strong signal areas no difference noticeable
