    So, my case has cracked right near the charging port. The thin line of plastic above the flap. Quite disappointed as the case is only 2 weeks old tops. Anyone else facing a similar issue? Is there warranty I can apply to this? I've never dropped the phone with the case on.

    This sounds stupid.

    But the case will work better now that it's broken.

    I had such a problem with plugging in my charger and hdmi cables.

    People said that it needed to get "worked in "

    After only a few weeks it cracked and eventually snapped off.

    Now, I have no problem with the ports.

    I half debated going to otter box for the warranty, but this works, while still providing maximum protection.

    Even if it is a pretty significant design flaw.

    Best case scenario they send you a new one, which will probably break shortly thereafter as well.

    Same thing was happening with me. I wasn't so much having an issue plugging in the cables but it was a very snug fit.

    I agree with the comments Above.
    The case works better with that thing broken.
    I cut it off the first day I got it because I couldn't charge the phone with it.
    There's No point claiming warranty for that.

    Doesn't the flap for the ports get all loose though? If I do claim warranty would I have to send the old case in?

    No its held in by the sides as opposed to the top.

    As for warranty, i'm not too sure, my assumption would be they want their defective crap back.

    Same thing for me. I got it through amazon so I contacted them and they sent me a new as a one time exception to their return policy.

    Now I'm afraid I'll break it again. I like the idea of just snapping it off. I thought maybe the new one they sent would have the design flaw fixed. I can't believe they didn't notice it while in testing.

    I'm tempted to convert to the trident aegis (loved it on my q10) but there's no white. I love the gray/white of the Otterbox
